My background with engineers and my good understanding of mechanics and physics helped me standout in my work with Caterpillar. For over 3 years, I worked for Caterpillar Inc. I started in the CGI department making specialty machine 360 spin sets and other various imagery. In the ACE, Advanced Content Experience, department I did various tasks such as, but not limited to: surfacing, rigging, animation, scene set up, hard modeling, rendering, pipeline improvements, research and development, and all the in-between technical aspects. I can show some projects that are public on YouTube, however many projects are not public. I can talk a bit about artistic or technical aspects but not cat specifics.

    * Excel sheets

One day we were organizing assets and sorting them into categories. Management had excel sheets with file names and categories. There was thousands of assets to find and sort. Other colleges started on it and it was taking more time than necessary hand sorting all of it. When I was assigned some of this work, my technical brain said 'nope, that's what code is for'. So I did a little python script, made the excel sheets into csv files, and command prompt those assets to sort themselves. Literally an 8 hours task was turned into a 10 minute task. Well then they handed me all the rest and started noticed I could do more. Management asked what I wanted to specialize in and I answered rigging, so there they promoted me to ACE.
